This may be the last series of durian menu from me this season... Actually I have more durian menu in mind but hubby already given me a strict instruction to rest - he said I've been working too hard in office and at home and must take some time to relax, no more unnecessary baking until end of the year... what a lovely hubby who cares... so I will try to obey....
I created this ice cream from leftover durian crepe filling that I made earlier and to my surprise it is so delicious! No durian ice cream from the supermarket can beat this rich durian filled ice cream! My hubby was so impressed too!

INGREDIENTS:
250ml Milk
1½ tbsp Custard Flour
2 tbsp Sugar
¼ tsp Salt
1 Egg Yolk
200g Durian Flesh
200ml Non-dairy Whipping Cream
METHOD:
1. Combine all ingredients, except whipping cream, until smooth.
Cook above small fire until thickened. Cool.
2. Whip the cream until stiff.
Add into the durian custard & mix well.
Place into a container and freeze for a day.
3. Place ice-cream into a food processor & blend until smooth.
Place into a container & freeze again for another day.
4. Scoop out & serve!

Amacam... teringin tak Aiskrim Durian yang Along buat ni....? CikManggis dah dua kali tanya bila Along nak publish Aiskrim Durian ni. Along buat dah seminggu tapi belum sempat nak hidangkan, lagipun masih banyak entri2 sebelum nya yg beratur untuk di tayangkan - al-maklum tuan rumah ni cuma sempat buat satu entri untuk satu hari di sebabkan kesuntukan masa - cuma sedikit masa jer yg luang waktu malam.
Sebenar nya aiskrim ni Along hasilkan dari lebihan krim inti durian crepe hari tu. Banyak lebih, sayang nya jadi Along modify buat asikrim.... tak sangka sedap sesangat! Buat sendiri boleh lah tarok durian banyak2, tak macam yg di jual di kedai kan... uuuuuiiiiiiiiiihhhh.... sedap tau!

250ml Susu Cair
1½ sb Tepung Kastad
2 sb Gula Pasir
¼ st Garam
1 biji Kuning Telur
200g Isi Durian
200ml Non-dairy Whip Cream
CARA2:
1. Satukan kesemua bahan, kecuali whip cream, sehingga sebati.
Masak sehingga kental dgn api kecil.
Sejukkan.
2. Pukul whip cream sehingga bertanduk.
Satukan dgn kastad tadi sehingga sebati.
Masukkan ke dalam bekas & bekukan sehari.
3. Masukkan aiskrim ke dalam food processor & blend sehingga gebu.
Masukkan ke dalam bekas & bekukan sehari lagi.
Sedia untuk di hidangkan!
TIPS:
Untuk dapatkan aiskrim yg cantik bulat licin, pastikan yg aiskrim betul2 beku dan celupkan scoop ke dalam air sebelum ceduk aiskrim.
